Dear Friends of The Capitol Hill Prayer Alert (CHPA):

I cannot adequately express the gratitude I have toward all of the emails, faxes and letters I received urging me to continue to publish The Capitol Hill Prayer Alert. Therefore, let me just say "Thank you! Your encouragement was the confirmation I needed to know the Lord wants us to carry on."

Many of you sent donations or indicated your desire to give. We are in this together and your financial help along with your prayers of support will make sure CHPA continues. Our costs run between $1500-$2000. Below you will find the necessary information on how you can financially support this prayer effort.

One bit of news that has been hard for us, but wonderful for him. Rev. Pierre Bynum is no longer on staff with CHPA. He is now Director for Church Outreach at Family Research Council (FRC), urging pastors to be involved in FRC's efforts to "defend family, faith and freedom." I pray God's rich blessing on ALL Pierre puts his hands to do. You can send him a note of support at PBYNUM@frc.org.

Since the President and Congress are on summer holiday, CHPA will be on break for the next few weeks. We will be taking this time with God and our families to renew our spirit, soul and body. (I encourage you to make sure you do the same sometime each year!) While we won't be sending out Prayer Alerts at this time, the office will be open to receive your calls, prayers and donations.
