SUBJECT:	The Persecution of Roy Moore & All True Christians

He rebuked kings for their sakes, saying, "Do not touch My anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm..." (1 Chr 16:21-26; Ps 105:14-15; 1Sam 24:6, 1Sam 26:9).

The miscarriage of justice in Alabama yesterday was directed not only against Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore. When Attorney General Bill Pryor persuaded 9 members of the Alabama Court of the Judiciary to condemn Moore and remove him from office, all-the-while speaking about "rule of law," he was assaulting the Constitution, the true rule of law, and the liberty of every God-fearing American (http://www.judicial.state.al.us/judiciary_members.cfm).

But we know God will vindicate Judge Moore, just as he did Joseph, Daniel and others. But like kings and councils of every generation, who murder prophets, condemn our Lord, and subject His followers to maltreatment, injury and death, those who unjustly condemned Moore have placed themselves in grave personal danger. Moore's mild-mannered, praying supporters, pose no threat. But the Author of Scripture says, TOUCH NOT MY ANOINTED!

The great Puritan scholar, Matthew Henry wrote of Ps 105:14-15:

• God's chosen are few, yet they are upheld. Their religion made them to be looked upon as strangers (1Pe 4:4) and to be hooted at as speckled birds (Jer 12:9). But they were guarded by the special providence of God Even those that hated them, and would gladly have done them a mischief, had their hands tied "The terror of God was upon [them]." Crowned heads that sought to wrong them, were not only checked and chidden for it, but controlled and baffled: He reproved kings for their sakes ...saying, "Touch not my anointed; it is at your peril if you do..."
  
• Pharaoh was plagued...Abimelech was sharply rebukedKing Jeroboam,s hand withered when he stretched it out against the prophet. God,s anointed prophets are dearer to Him than anointed kings. Those who offer to touch God's prophets, with design to harm them, may expect to hear of it one way or another. God is jealous for his prophets; whosoever touches them touches the apple of His eye...

Father, You are Sovereign! THANK YOU for raising up Judge Roy Moore for such a time as this. SURPRISE those who seek to punish & silence Moore & to preserve their own power over man & God. Have MERCY, but stop their mouths. Use Moore even more to fan the flames of Revival & true Biblical Reformation across America. In Jesus' Name. Amen (Mt 23:29-35; Acts 8:57-60; 2 Tim 2:9).
