strong... those also who render evil for good; they are my adversaries
because I follow what is good... Make haste to help me, O Lord
of my salvation." Psalm 38:19-22 As President George W. Bush grows closer to God, cites more Scripture and references his prayer life more and more, his enemies are becoming evermore angry and filled with hate (for instance, the Democratic leaders, academics, liberal media, Muslims, the French political leaders, Hollywood elites, etc.). Why is this? Consider what Matthew Henry* says in reference to the Scriptures above: "They are very subtle and politic. They lay snares, they imagine deceits... they do it all the day long. They speak mischievous things one to another... . They are very insolent and abusive... "They are not only unjust, but very ungrateful; they hate me wrongfully. I never did them any ill turn, nor so much as bore them any ill-will, not ever gave them any provocation; nay, they render evil for good... "Such a rooted enmity there is in the hearts of wicked men to goodness for its own sake that they hate;... they hate prayer even in those who pray for them and hate peace even in those who would be at peace with them... They are very impious and devilish. They are my adversaries merely because I follow the thing that is good... "They hated him, not only for his kindness to them, but for his devotion and obedience to God; they hated him because they hated God and all that bear His image." These devilish groups and individuals hate President Bush and are dedicated to his destruction. They have an anti-Christ spirit. We need to pray for our President! Please Join Us In Prayer For Our President: -O, LORD, make haste to HELP President Bush, his family and his counselors. -DELIVER him from his and Your adversaries. May all their lies, hatred and snares be nullified. -The U.S.A. needs Your intervention. Please cause us to REPENT and TURN BACK to You. Please GUIDE our affairs. -Thank You, LORD!
