SUBJECT:	Rampant Lawlessness in America

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness... they are without excuse... (Rom 1:28-31 [unrighteousness - Greek adikia])

'[D]epart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!' (Mt 7:23 [lawlessness - Gr. anomia])

By upholding the New Jersey Supreme Court's decision to disregard a state law prohibiting late ballot changes, the U.S. Supreme Court empowered New Jersey's Democrat machine illegally to replace their failed candidate (incumbent Sen. Robert Torricelli) with a liberal candidate more likely to win. The courts aided and abetted Sen. Tom Daschle and other radical Democrats who are determined to maintain a subversive stranglehold on the U.S. Senate.

In the Washington Metropolitan area, a sniper's random shootings have killed eight people in three suburban counties and the district over the past week. Among "Christian" men, the use of pornography has become common and divorce rates in the Church rivals those among non-Christians. The common thread is LAWLESSNESS, rampant lawlessness.

The New Testament Greek words, "adikia" and "anomia" are translated in most English Bible translations both as "iniquity" and "unrighteousness." Both refer to wicked disregard for the standard of God's law. "Adikia" best applies to acts of injustice (lawless acts by those with authority). "Anomia" refers to morally lawless acts committed by any person.

Godly judges establish a tenor and respect for God and His law (Dt 16:18-20; 19:18-21; 2 Chr 19:5-10). They bring blessing upon the nation. Dishonest judges who condemn good and justify evil make all of society more lawless. They encourage lawlessness among politicians, businessmen, husbands, wives, and children, petty thieves, street gangs and would-be snipers.

"A little leaven leavens the whole lump" (1 Cor 5:6).

Liberals who now control the Senate have brazenly announced their intention to confirm only judges who agree with their liberal agenda (judges who, in turn, will use their office to advance that agenda). By any measure, THIS IS A REVOLUTION BORN OF LAWLESSNESS! If Christians fail to pray and take action to stop it, America is doomed to even more explosive lawlessness and certain tyranny.

--Father, INTERVENE! DESTROY the schemes of evil political leaders. RAISE UP righteous leaders who will help turn America back to You. May God-fearing men be elected who will change control of the U.S. Senate and confirm God-fearing judges!

--CAUSE Your People once again to walk in the Law of the Lord. May the American Church ESTABLISH Your Law. Almighty Lord, have MERCY upon America.
