CONCERTED PRAYER REQUIRED
FOR REV. SCHENCK'S RECOVERY
On your walls, O Jerusalem,
I have appointed watchmen (Is 62:6).
The staff of The Capitol Hill Prayer Alert wants
to thank you for your faithful and faith-filled prayers for our
dear friend, Rev. Rob Schenck. Last Thursday, March 24, Rev.
Schenck had brain surgery performed in Pittsburgh to untwist
an artery that has wrapped itself around two nerves at the base
of his brain stem.
The surgery was a success, but concerted prayer is still required
to deal with "some remaining issues." Plus the
recovery from this type of surgery will take at least six weeks.
The doctors have pressed upon him the need to be still during
this recovery time since excessive talking, walking, worrying,
etc. can cause fluid to leak from the area where he had his surgery.
Rev. Rob Schenck and his twin brother Paul founded the ministry
Faith and Action (http://faithandaction.org/), a Christian
outreach whose mission is to reintroduce the Word of God into
the public debate surrounding legislation and policy matters.
Please Join Us in Faith-Filled Prayers:
Almighty God, continue to WATCH over Rev. Schenck. Let his
recovery be COMPLETE. Allow NO COMPLICATIONS. HELP him to rest
in You. In the Name of Jesus, AMEN! (Ps 34:19; 42:11; 91:all;
Jn 14:27; Heb 4:10-16)
